LovePilot
Privacy Policy
Last updated 16 October 2026
LovePilot does not store what it reads. When you ask for a line, the screen content goes to the model that writes it, the line comes back, and the content is discarded. It is never written to our database and never saved to a file. We keep your account, your settings, and a count of how many lines you have used. Not the lines themselves, and not what you were looking at.
This policy explains what LovePilot collects, what it deliberately does not collect, and the choices you have. It covers the LovePilot iPhone app, the LovePilot keyboard, and the LovePilot screen-reading feature.
Who we are
LovePilot is an independent product, built and run by a small team. You can reach us about anything in this policy at hello@thegridbrand.com.

What we do not collect
These are the things people reasonably worry about with an app like this. The answer to each is no.
- We do not store screenshots or screen recordings. Screen content is processed to produce your line and is then gone. There is no image storage in our system.
- We do not store the lines LovePilot writes, or the conversations you use it on.
- We do not store what you type. The LovePilot keyboard sends text to our service only when you ask it to rewrite or reply to something. It does not log, transmit or retain your ordinary typing — passwords, messages to other people, searches, anything.
- We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it to build an advertising profile.
- We do not use your content to train models.
- We do not read your contacts, photo library, location, or other apps' data.
The keyboard and Full Access
The LovePilot keyboard asks for a setting Apple calls Full Access. iOS requires it before any keyboard can reach the network or share data with its parent app. LovePilot needs it for exactly two reasons: to know you are signed in, and to send the specific text you select when you ask for a rewrite or a reply.
With Full Access on, LovePilot still transmits text only when you press a LovePilot button. Keystrokes typed into other apps are never captured, stored or sent. If you turn Full Access off, the keyboard still types normally; the LovePilot features simply stop working.
Reading the screen
LovePilot can read what is on your screen to understand a dating profile or a conversation. On iPhone this runs through Apple's own screen-sharing mechanism, which means you start it deliberately and iOS shows a visible indicator the whole time it runs. It cannot start by itself and it cannot run without you seeing it.
While it runs, the screen content is used to produce your line and is then discarded. Nothing is recorded to a file and nothing is uploaded to storage. Stopping the broadcast ends it immediately.
Who else sees your data
We use a small number of providers, each for one job, and none receives more than that job needs.
- The model provider that writes the lines receives the screen content or text for that single request, returns the line, and does not retain it for training. It does not receive your name or email.
- Supabase hosts the database holding your account, settings and usage records.
- Apple processes in-app purchases. We never see your card details.
- Stripe processes any purchase made outside the App Store. We never see your card details.
We will also disclose information where the law genuinely requires it, and we will tell you unless we are forbidden from doing so.
Your choices
- Delete your account. Settings, then Delete account, inside the app. This removes everything we hold about you — profile, settings, usage records, purchase records and any remaining credit. It is immediate and cannot be undone. Apple and Stripe keep their own record of a payment they processed, as the law requires of them; that is outside our control and you would contact them directly.
- Turn off Full Access in iOS Settings, General, Keyboard, at any time.
- Stop the screen reading at any time from the indicator iOS shows while it runs.
- Ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct it, by emailing us.
If you are in California, the EEA or the UK, you have additional rights over your personal data, including access, correction, deletion, and the right to complain to a regulator. Email us and we will honour them. We do not sell personal information as that term is defined under California law.
Security
Your session is held in the iOS keychain. Traffic between the app and our service is encrypted in transit. Database access is restricted per user, so one account cannot read another's records. No system is perfect, and we will tell you promptly if something happens that affects your data.
Children
LovePilot is for adults. It is rated 17+ and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top and tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
